Well then, seeing as summer is almost officially over I thought it was definitely time for me to hurry up and swatch this beautiful collection!
I’ve recently started using Kiki London gel polishes and I’m really taken with them. They are so easy to apply and the finished result is flawless. I’m finding myself on their website far more often than I should, cooing over all of the different colours…
Anyway! Before I distract myself again with some Kiki-shaped procrastination lets have a look at the collection!
The first colour in the collection is ‘Cotton Candy’, a pink-toned lilac creme style gel polish which leans slightly more pink in my pictures. A beautifully delicate shade, this is a perfect “everyday colour”. My swatches show two coats and the Kiki London No Wipe top coat.
The next colour is the beautiful and bright ‘Orange Soda’. It’s such a fitting name as it looks so juicy and would work so well in a bright, fruit-themed summer mani. My swatches show two coats and the Kiki London No Wipe top coat.
Up next is ‘Lemon Tart’. I’m not going to lie, I bought the collection just for this shade! I am LOVING yellows and oranges at the moment but this one screamed my name! A bright and sunny lemon creme with added shimmer, this is perfect, summer in a bottle. My swatches show two coats and the Kiki London No Wipe top coat.
The fourth polish in the collection is ‘Sunset Glow’. Another creme, this lies somewhere between a hot orange and a neon red, although it looks a little more red in my swatches. This would be a perfect colour if you have a deeper skin tone or you still have a holiday tan. Saying that, I still love it on my pasty skin! My swatches show two coats and the Kiki London No Wipe top coat.
Here we have the last polish in this gorgeous collection, ‘Electric Island’. I didn’t realise that this gel polish was a jelly effect but it was truly a nice surprise! The colour is so rich and vibrant, even though it is such a deep blue and the fact that I could still see the nail line through it somehow added to its beauty. I used 3 coats of this polish, topped with the Kiki London No Wipe top coat.
