OPI All Stars pt. 1…

Hi guys! Today I’m going to be looking at the OPI All Stars set. I can imagine these have been swatched and reviewed to death but they’re new to me so, here goes…

I started by choosing my favourites from the 10 polishes, which was hard as I really liked 7 of them but, as I only have 5 fingers on my swatch hand I had to be strict 😂 

So, on my thumb I have “Alpine Snow”. As I have found with other pale/pastel opaque OPI colours the finish can be a bit streaky so 3 coats were applied. However, I do like it. It’s a true, bright white and I can see me using this as a base for stamping. Which is good, as I have just bought a mini and a full-sized bottle! 😂

On my index finger I have “That’s Hula-rious!”, a lovely pastel green. I have a thing for greens at the moment so of course this made the first 5. Again, as a pastel it took 3 coats but the finished look is flawless. I might just have to get a full-sized bottle of this colour. 

On my middle finger I have “Strawberry Margarita”, a gorgeous bright pink. I smudged this, so I ended up with 3 coats but it would cover beautifully in 2. Again, glad I like this as I have a bottle in each size 😊

On my ring finger there is “Malaga Wine”, a gorgeous deep, almost blood red. It does stain badly though, as I found when I splodged my skin (hey, I was multi-tasking, painting nails and watching The Martian!). Once more, I can see this being added to my want list. 

Last but not least, my pinky is host to “Lincoln Park After Dark”. A very deep and dark purple. It looks almost black and is definitely another “want” for the “full-size list”. This covered very nicely in one coat, but I definitely have a bit of OCD so I had to put on 2 coats. This and “Strawberry Margarita” are probably my favourites.
