Hey everyone! I’m sorry it’s been so quiet around here, I’ve been busy with decorating and general life/poorly kiddies etc. Busy busy! But today I have the new Cienna Rose Christmas Trio to show you.
A capsule wardrobe for your nails, you can wear them alone or team them with other favourites from your collection and create some gorgeous Christmas manis, perfect for the party season!
First up is the most Christmassy colour there is, red! ‘Vixen’ is an orange-toned red crelly polish which is so glossy, even without top coat. It’s so beautiful!
I had a little nail line visible with two coats so you could use three if you wanted it to be more opaque but I thought it looked perfect as it was.
Obviously I had to team it with white for a proper Christmas mani, the little Santa gnomes from UberChic’s ‘Holly Jolly’ stamping plate are just adorable!
Next up from the Trio is ‘Under the Stars’, a deep and inky blue base full of shimmer, scattered holo and multichrome flakes. This would make for a beautiful galaxy mani! It make me think of the sky at midnight on New Year’s Eve…
I used two coats and top coat here, I found that although most of the flakes lie flat, I got an odd one that folded or curled and so top coat made it smooth and super glossy.
So the nail art just HAD to be star themed! I used another Cienna Rose polish, ‘Something Blue’, to make star decals (I used Lina ‘Make Your Mark 02’ stamping plate). I think that they go very nicely together 🙂
The last polish in the Christmas Trio is a limited edition polish, ‘Tiara’. This is a stunning silver ethereal polish with a striking violet shimmer and purple to blue to green flakes. It covered perfectly in two coats.
I teamed it with ‘Pretty Please’ (Cienna Rose) and made some decals using UberChic’s ‘Art Deco Chic’ stamping plate. I think the purple really brings out the violet of ‘Tiara’.
This is a beautiful set of polishes, I enjoyed trying them! The formula of each was just perfect and they will be great for the office Christmas party or cooking Christmas dinner in style 😉
