Hi guys! I hope you are well and that you’re coping better with this crazy weather than me, I don’t know whether to take an umbrella or sunglasses half the time! It’s definitely Autumn!
I’m not one for sticking to seasonal colours but I do enjoy the influx of autumn colours, deep and warm tones, it makes me feel cozy.
Anyhoo, I was delighted to receive the A/W Collection from Carla at Cienna Rose, five beautiful polishes in a range of colours and styles.

Beautifully presented, as always, let’s take a look!
First up is ‘Keeping it Teal’, a gorgeous deep teal blue creme. This was a sod to photograph as the colour came out much darker than it appears in real life but I fiddled with another camera and got a closer colour match… shown is two coats and no top coat.

I did some nail art using this and one coat of ‘So Haute’ (another polish from Cienna Rose) over the top of my index and pinky fingers. Stamping is using ZJoy stamping polish and UberChic Deco Chic plate.

The next polish is ‘Sunkissed’, a bright coral creme with pink to gold shimmer. I loved that this was included as it’s not a typical autumn/winter colour. This is more of a holiday abroad in October colour and it’s just stunning. Shown is two coats and top coat.

I decided to team this with ‘Marshmallow’ under some Milv water decals and a pinky accent of ‘Big Spender’ (both polishes by Cienna Rose) and a sparkly bow that I actually found at Home Bargains of all places!

The third polish in this collection is called ‘Ice Cream Sundae’ and is a white crelly base with lots of coloured glitters and pearlescent bar glitters PLUS green to blue shimmer. This really does look like ice cream and sprinkles! This does dry a little textured because of the glitter so I popped a nice thick top coat on top.

Macro of ‘Ice Cream Sundae’, sprinkles galore!

For this polish I painted one coat of ‘Snob’ (by Cienna Rose) over the top so that the glitter still showed though and then stamped using Moyou London ‘White Knight’ and UberChic plate ‘Got Chevron?’

Up next is ‘Je T’aime’, a stunning red crelly. I LOVE red polishes and this is just perfect, it’s so glossy too! Swatch shows two coats and no top coat.

I teamed this with another Cienna Rose Polish, ‘Black Diamond’ and stamped then both with ‘Kylo Ren’ by Esmaltes da Kelly and UberChic plates 4-02 and 24-03.

The last polish I have to show you is ‘Showtime’, a beautiful sage green with pink shimmer and holo. I am loving sage coloured polishes at the moment (not that I need any more polishes!), I think I just like the delicate shade of green, as every other green I have seems to be loud and bright. This swatch shows two coats and top coat.

As this is a delicate colour I decided to go with some delicate nail art, maybe a little too subtle though as the green stamping didn’t show as well on camera! I used ‘Pink Chiffon’ for two nails and stamped those with Moyou London ‘Olive Tree’ using UberChic plate 1-01, plus a few gems I picked up on AliExpress.

I loved this collection and honestly don’t have a bad word to say about it. The formula of the polishes was spot on, as usual, and there is a nice range of colours.
My favourite polish was probably ‘Ice Cream Sundae’, I really love the crelly glitters by Cienna Rose, they are so fun and really easy to apply with a good amount of glitter so there are no bare patches on the nail.
All five polishes are available right now over at www.ciennarose.com along with the brand new nail treatments such as nail hardener and cuticle oil. You can even get 15% off your first order when you sign up to their newsletter.
Which was your favourite polish from the collection? Are you someone who only wears seasonal colours when it comes to nail polish? Let me know in the comments below!
As always, thanks for reading! ‘Til next time… x x
