Hi guys! I’m sorry it’s been so long since my last post, I’ve been very busy with house stuff and thangs but I’m back with a new collection for you from the lovely Kat over at ‘Ard As Nails.
This collection is made up of 5 bright and summery polishes, each with a shimmery base which looks different with each colour. The polishes have a slightly squishy feel when applying but two coats cover beautifully! I’ve also used both matte and gloss top coats to show off those beautiful shimmers.
First up is “Sunset Shimmer”, a lovely bright yellow polish which looks more chartreuse in certain lights. This was the first out of the box and got a big “Ooooooh!” from me. The shimmer in this looks silver and gold depending on the angle, so pretty!

The next polish is called Sapphire Sparkles. This has a bit more of a purple tone than is shown here but, in typical blurple style, it’s a bit camera shy. The shimmers in this polish look gold and pink.

Up next is the beautiful “Coral Reef”. One second this looks mid-pink, the next, bright coral. This would be perfect for some summer nail art 🙂 The shimmer in this looks silver, gold and pink. It is also a little lighter than shown here but it made my camera a bit crazy!

“Sunset Horizon” is a bright purple with shimmer that shines silver and pink and blue.

The last of the collection is “Mermaid Scales” a beautiful icey blue, almost cyan polish. This makes me think of beautiful clear waters surrounding a desert island *sigh* and the shimmer in this looks silver gold and pink.

What I really love about these polishes is the fact that they all have the same base shimmer but because of the different colours of the polish you can see different shimmer colours. It’s such a great effect and means you can spend ages admiring your beautiful nails from every angle!
