Wow! I’m so behind! We’re in February and I haven’t even shared the swatches from the latest MeeBox!
I have loads to do at home so I’m having to grab any time I can to do my nails at the moment but it should be worth it in the end when my house is organised.
Right then, January’s MeeBox theme was Galentines so that had to mean a red, right? We got two in this box, one to keep and one to give to our best Galantine. But I’m greedy so I’m keeping both! Mwahahaha!
This is the Valentines Day duo from ncLA. The red is gorgeous and opaque in 2 coats and the holo glitter topper has heart glitters in it which needed placing rather than brushing on. Super cute, I think!
This is Hyde Park Place from Nails Inc. A gorgeous grey, I used this as a base for some love nail stamping. Opaque in 2 coats.
I used a bit of the ncLA red in the hearts in the reverse stamping for my ring finger.
This is a Colour Chrome from Models Own called Rose. It’s a beautiful rose gold which reminds me of Cirque “Halcyon”, just without the flakes. Stunning and covers well in one coat but I always do two! It stamps perfectly too, just like the other Colour Chromes.
I did a spot of simple black stamping over this polish which I think turned out really well. Uber sweet!
Well, even though I already had two of the polishes from this MeeBox in minis (Nails Inc and Models Own) I still think this box was great. Fab colours to go with the Galentines theme and the heart glitter topper from ncLA was just sweet and fun!
I’m looking forward to next month’s box too, the theme is Gatsby. It will be all about the roaring 20’s and in true flapper style I am guessing there will be monochrome and maybe some silver, gold or bronze. We are also going to get some nail art goodies so I can’t wait to see what they will be! Excited!
