I decided to treat myself recently and signed myself up for Meebox. For those of you who haven’t come across Meebox before, it’s a monthly subscription box full of polishes and nail art/care related items. I’ve seen a lot of ladies in the nail groups on Facebook discussing themes and what they got that month and so I decided to give it a try.
The theme for December is “There’s No Place Like Home”, which obviously screams The Wizard of Oz. Immediately, I thought there had to be a glittery red polish, definitely an emerald polish and possibly a yellow/gold polish. Well it turns out I was 3 for 3. So let’s check it out…

I definitely chose the right month to sign up as this month Meebox sent 7 items instead of the usual 5(?). I was very excited to get stuck in!

This little card came out first and just reinforced my theory of the whole red/yellow/green…

The polishes, from left to right, Kure Bazaar “Pigalle”, Zoya “Goldie” and Leighton Denny “Jailbird”. I’ve not tried Zoya or Kure polishes before so I’ll be interested to see how they turn out.

Swatches of the polishes, each showing 2 coats. I normally apply glitters with the sponge method, however I 2-coat my swatch sticks to get an idea of coverage.

Next up is a stamper and scraper set from Moyou. I have used stampers from Moyou before and I have found them to be a bit hit and miss but I’m curious as to how this one will work out…

No stamping set from Moyou is complete without a stamping plate. This is Fairytale 12. I bloody love this one! It is impossibly cute and full of so many different images!

Next up we have some nail wraps from ncLA. If you’re not familiar with The Wizard of Oz, the main character, Dorothy, wore a blue gingham dress. These are spot on and a really nice touch!

Last, but by no means least, we have a nail and cuticle oil from ‘Ard As Nails. I’m so glad this was included as I’ve been dying to try out ‘Ard As Nails polishes and nail care but I told myself I would have to wait til after Christmas. I’ve already tried this and it smells delicious! Not sure what the scent is as there’s no fragrance label but it is so nice and it soaks in beautifully, not much oily residue.
Well then, overall I am super impressed with my very first Meebox! Everything looks great and definitely fits the theme of “There’s No Place Like Home” one hundred percent. A few items I can’t wait to try out are the polishes and the stamping plate. I’ll post any manis that I do on here, Instagram and Facebook. And if you want to try Meebox for yourself then I used the code SAVEMEE10 for 10% off your first box.
Well, thanks for reading and look out for some magical manis coming soon! x
